Fairy hair is for EVERY BODY that has hair at least 3 inches long. We can even apply fairy hair in wigs and beards! We are inclusive to all ages, hair types, and identifying genders. We want to spread the fairy hair magic to everyone!

Our fairy hair application currently costs $1/strand with a minimum of 30 strands for adults and 20 strands for children 12 years old or younger. You can always add more strands to really sparkle!

Since we use a special hand-tying method, fairy hair application takes about 15-30 minutes depending how many strands you choose. For over 60 strands, this can take up to an hour.
It is very important to arrive with clean, dry, and brushed hair that is free of styling products. This will allow the fairy hair knot to hold best, which in turn will last longer. Brushing your hair before your appointment will remove any weak hairs that would have soon shed. We need your strongest hairs to decrease the likelihood of early shedding once the fairy hair is attached.
Fairy hair is made of a very thin polyester fiber to mimic the thickness of one strand of human hair.
Fairy hair is hand-tied onto one single strand of hair using a special knot technique. No tools or beads are used. This method allows us to get as close to your roots as possible. Once tied, two strands hang from each teeny tiny knot.
This varies depending on your own natural hair shedding pattern and how often you brush, wash, and blow dry your hair. Some strands may shed in the first week or two and others may last months! On average, fairy hair should last over 4 weeks. It is normal for children to shed hair faster than adults.
Yes! Fairy hair works for all hair types! For curly hair, we are able to manipulate the fairy hair into a spiral that matches your curl pattern. For coarse and/or curly hair, just remember that the less product in your hair, the better it is for fairy hair attachment!
Yes! You can blow dry, straighten, and curl your hair with fairy hair attached!
Yes! You can have your hair cut, dyed, and styled with fairy hair attached! We recommend to ask you hair stylist if they are okay with working on hair with fairy hair attached.
As a registered nurse, I take cleanliness very seriously, as it is extremely important for our own health and the health of our clients.
We clean any used clips, combs, brushes, and scissors with sanitizing wipes between each client. We also wash or sanitize our hands between clients depending on which method is the most accessible to us at each location.
We always have the right to turn away potential clients who we think have hair or scalp conditions that are deemed unsafe to work on. This includes, but is not limited to excessive dandruff, pediculosis (lice), fungal infections (ringworm), other communicable skin conditions, or visibly excessive styling products.
